I turn on the jesus channel and i get cleansed every morning. I then whip myself until i pass out to free my sins, I then burn my eyes to destroy the demons who see through them. I punch my genitals everytime i think of indecent sexual thoughts about my neighbors wife. I then stick needles in my neck to excersize the demon.

I then put on my sandles that leave "jesus loves you" marks in the sand while I walk on the beach. I then sit down on my jesus towel and each my jesus snack nutrient bars.

I do this everytime to stay free of evil.

Why do I hate atheists when I am taught that hate is wrong?

Because they are so hateful themselves. Do onto others as you would have them do onto you.

I have rarely known atheists to peacefully say "I do not believe there is a God", and from there on mind their own business. They seem obsessed with proving that I am a moron for believing. They are the unreligious equivalent of hardcore Christian Fundamentalists who are obsessed with proving that every other branch of Christianity teaches the Scriptures wrong.

Its one thing to not believe there is any sort of higher being. That's fine. But don't bash people who do believe.

Just remember, the trilogy is 5 books. And if you're that unsecure in your belief to not get a chuckle from the Guide, well, time to let your butt unpucker a bit.

It is completely illogical to not believe in a higher being of some sort. Before there was anything, there was something.

That's a contradiction, before anything at all existed something else did? That is the random theory, because it is based on the idea of infinite space and time. Therefore, it's like the infinite stack of books: each book sits on the book before it. God is a somewhat harder idea to logically comprehend because it doesn't make as much sense as an infinite regression.

Yeah, me too, but opposites. I hate baptists because they think that their way is the only way, and that's pretty much bashing everybody else whether they are rude about it or not. I choose not to believe, and I respect people who do as long as they can respect me even though I don't.

Whats more hateful then an atheist? A baptist. Most aethists pity those who have religion. Most baptists fall into a state of screaming "YOUR GOING TO HELL HEATHEN!". Trust me we don't hate you... we pity you.

religion can give people peace of mind, comfort in time of need, and a sense of security in the world.

atheism, and I balk at using that term to describe the lack of a belief in the existence of a heavenly being, will not give you any of those. However, it will keep you from uselessly dying in a war being fought for the God of the president, it will keep you from joining a cult and it will keep you from being led astray or taught idiotic ideals like abstinence when you learn morality.
