  • Wrecked the car

I was on my way to the track this evening for Friday night racing and just about 2 miles from the track, the skies oppened up and it poured. I hit a patch of standing water on the road and hydroplaned. I swerved right and left to try to gain control and hit a tree head on. I am okay, nothing hurt, but my poor camaro was not as lucky.
I will have to wait for the insurance person to look at it tomorrow to say if it is totaled or not.

WARNING, do not drive in pouring down rain with drag radials. Not a good idea.

    I will post pics later.

Yep I have had it since April 30. Only a few months and the car was great. I am in the point series at the local track so now I don't know what to do.
I think since the car is only a 96, the insurance company may total it. From what I saw, everything from the front of the engine forward was smashed, but the TB and back is completely untouched. I am hoping it will be fixable. I'm not sure about frame damage yet.

Yeah, Nachius will not be so happy  :(

I'm going to go cry now

I'm very sorry to hear this :(

I'm glad to see you are ok though.

When I started to drive back and forth to the track w/ "race" type tires..... the weather was watched constantly.... I got caught a couple times out in it.... and saty it out :(

                        Sorry to hear though
