I know what you mean Tome, Irvine is probably worse than ER. Kids here don't just drive S4s, they have modded S4s, M3s, AMG Mercedes', you name it.

Just have to be happy with what you have. I'm sure the 'maro gets as many girls as his S4 ;) It would probably get even more if it were a firebird though :(

Aren't you busting your *** now to possibly make a better life for your children? Its not those kids fault their parents busted their *** in college or work or whatever to become sucessful. Somewhere along the line in their family, someone made sacrifices to make future generation's life easier.

I know thats why I'm in school, I want my children to have a nice life like mine at least or even better.

I think there is a difference between giving them a good life, and spoiling them to all hell [img]smile.gif[/img] My parents don't do too bad, but I have a very good sense of money management from not being overly-spoiled... unlike some of my friends who will spend a couple hundred dollars at a bar and not care because their parents pay their credit card bill. It kind of makes them think "the money makes the man" and they behave like it.. "Oh I have x amount of dollars.. I drive a BMW.. blah blah". It gets old hearing this crap all the time.

Yeah that's one way to look at it. Even though I plan to be making a pretty high wage, I'm not so sure I would buy my kids cars that expensive anyway.

There's a difference between ensuring a solid future and giving them a 5G limit spending limit on a credit card so they can buy parts for their S4.

And my kids ain't gettin **** 'til I buy me a vette :D

and i know what you mean about the rich kids. i mean im funded by my family tuition and "allowance" but $60 every 2 weeks is just enough to play paintball. and its my Grandparents that pay my tuition. now rich kids, on my my floor alone, there are 2 SS's and a Firehawk, last week i saw a C6 on campus. its redictulious the kind of money some of these kids can throw around.
