how about a sticker saying "Do Not Touch", or "Keep Off". That'll keep 'em at bay. I take it it's an optima, or other sealed, battery. Was the box just too big to mount in the spare tire area?

Optima 1050 CCA battery from my chevelle

Put a sticker there... and people turn it off.

I gotta get a "push off" sticker for it for the track

Battery is better where it is instead of spare tire compartment, it wouldn't fit there.

Why did you relocate the battery James?

You could have gone with a light weight battery and saved much more weight.

Relocating the battery is required at the 9.99 level.

Well, due to my, still present, traction issues I figured I'd give it a try again.

I had all the parts already.

It didn't take long for the install.

I had to buy a couple connections which were very cheap
