I'm always posting deals on here for you guys, that I run across, so...
I just ordered myself a new panel to replace this aging and failing 19" CTX Trinitron CRT I've been using for the past three years.
I've been waiting for that long for LCD panels to get cheaper, and faster. I use this computer for gaming as well as work, so response time is critical. Up until very recently, the technology has been too immature to produce LCD screens that can handle fast moving graphics without ghosting (that is, leaving fading trails behind a rapidly moving object on the screen).
When they got down to 14ms and 12ms on 19" screens I knew we were getting close. Now, within the last few months, there are tons of 8ms screens coming out, and the one I just ordered is 4ms/5ms (typical). That's fast.
So, if any of you gamers have been doing what I've been doing and waiting on upgrading, here's what I ordered:

Now all I can do is wait, and pray for no dead pixels.
