  • Oldsmobile Aurora?

Found out today that my fathers boss is selling his '96 Auroura,80 K on the clock with automatic transmission , Black exterior and tan leather interior.Awesome condition outside and I know he takes care of his cars meintenance wise.He wants $3500 for it. The only way to do this would be to sell my 91 Bird.Sound like a good deal? I'm verry much considering this!

You absolutely sure it is a 4.0 V8 and not a 3.5 V8? I think you may be right, but I cannot remember the year that those engines did the switch. Those are the engines that Chevrolet uses in the IRL, they have since 1997. I know those cars will get up and go.

Auroras are nice. I definately like the 98 and up ones. They improved the styling a little bit.

                        Its a 4.0 "Baby Northstar" V8. The 3.5s didn't come out until 2000-01ish and were a V6

I'm driving a 4.0 95 right now. Nothing special, and I wouldn't give $3500 for one, particularly since they're known for tranny problems. Though yours seems to have low miles.

Not super on gas either, but they're heavy and have a V8 so go figure.
