Die Ford V8 sounds like my dad a bit when he haggles. We were talking to a salesman about a fully loaded 2000 Impala yesterday. It used to be 9000, he started at 7000 and in 45 min my dad had him ready to sign it over for 3000 plus my broken down Camaro including titles and everything. We ended up waiting on it to see when my car is fixed, but damn the man can haggle.

Die Ford v8, next time I buy a car, it might be worth it to fly you out to haggle.. Thats just rediclous.

"I do it for fun and practice" I have nightmares when I think about dealing with the car dealership.

thanks guys, yeah i haggle a little and like to have fun. my dad is where i get my aggressiveness and the way to deal. im now reading some sales books and figuring out the mind of a salesman. the book "what salesman wont tell you" is a great book.

my dad would go to the indian reservation to buy fireworks, (bottle rockets and stuff) he knew they only paid a few cents for what we bought for a dollar so he would pick out and have them stack up about $600 worth of fireworks and pull out two $100s and go "ahh shoot i forgot my money welp, sorry i guess i have to go somewhere else" next thing you know he gets it all and still asks and recieves a few freebies. i know a bit more than my dad now, but when i do buy my next rig, itll be a 30 min thing, walk in with my offer and my deal and will only negotiate price once. then i walk or drive my new car.

shoot emails or post again and i will help anyone if needed to get a car for a better price.

read the book, it helps tremendously...

LT1's are very good engine although I probably own the slowest one but thats besides the point. Just keep them up.
