Better fix it or get another one soon. I don't want to have to pick you up when you come visit me! You are driving yourself!

woohoo! i fixed her! i didn't want to spend money on a coil and have it not be that, especially on my tight budget... but i found out earlier today that my insurance rates dropped, i'm getting in 10 extra hours this week at work, and i cashed my paycheck. i went ahead and bought a coil at autozone and replaced it today. she's running stronger than ever.

i was thinking about what i would do after i fixed it and i came up with a couple options that involved selling the thing... sell it and buy an older (70's, up to 83) corvette stingray, or an older Z28 or trans am. but now my baby is fixed and i'm going to keep her... at least, until something else goes wrong lol.

she's all fixed. and i don't know if i'll be driving us anywhere when i come... i'm not used to that crazy city traffic, i'm used to small town traffic. ;)

although, i did drive through inner city detroit express ways on a saturday afternoon of a holiday weekend the second day i had my permit. i did fine, so my uncle let me drive his brand new corvette. :D

yes, sir. i seafoamed a while back (no more than a week?) and not much smoke came out of the exhaust... i fixed this little misfire deal and a ton of smoke came out. good thing it's foggy tonight, otherwise the 80-year-old neighbors would have called the fire dept. lol. is it possible that some seafoam got hung up in cyl #5 and went through the rest of the firing order after the misfire was fixed?

here's what i mean...
the firing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2
is it possible for the seafoam to go through cyls 1 and 6, get caught up, then later go through the rest of the firing order?

No, each cylinder is fed from an individual intake runner (think of it like a pipe). Firing order just tells you which cylinder fires in which sequence in relation to the other 5 cylinders.
