universal camera printer???

Is there suck a thing??? Granny almost bought one on sale but of course it was out of stock. I don't know but from what I have seen, each one made is for a specific camera. Probably good she didn't get the one on sale.

She has an Olympus D380 and would like to be able to print out pics.
Christmas prices has them listed from $80-$150 but of course none are in stock.

Which one should I have her get???

I think you're looking at something like the HP 1350. It has a port on the front that can read 6 or 7 different types of media. I have one (no digital camera), but it appears as though you put in your flash card, hit the photo button and it prints out thumbnail images of all the photos on the card. You then select the image and sixe you want.
I know Canon makes em, and I think Epson does too.

I have an Epson Photo Stylus 925, which prints at like 5775X1440 dpi, supports six different media types with the built in card reader, and you can also buy a color screen to view what's on the memory card before you print. It also supports stand alone printing, so you don't need a computer to print what's on the camera. I know it has a usb hub on the back of it, but I've never tried connecting a camera to it to see if it'll print. A nice thing about it is once you put a memory card into it, it shows up on the computer like another drive, accessible just like any other. I love the printer, I just wish I had a camera that could push the printer to its limits

look into hp printers they have some that will replace your current one and print real nice pictures or if she just wants a small one that prints 4x6 only


the HP P325 prints only 4x6 but is small 149 at circuit city
