At least Hitler, Stalin and the Isralies have the excuse of creating a buffer zone. We just did it under completly false curcumstances, and bush still wont admit it.

where did you get your education?
A: Hitler. Did not go to war because he thought it would make his country safer. he went to war because he needed to bring his economy out of a horrible depression, and he has global domination on his mind.

B: Stalin. Which country did stalin invade? (seriously, im not sure on this one)

C: The isrealies DID go to war to protect themselves. Egypt had set up a blocade along the red sea thus killing isreals economy. egypt also had numerous tank divisions stationed in the sinai pennensula ready to invade isreal, just as most of the other arab states were gearing up to do.

the numerous car bombs in isreal arnt due to the fact that isreal beat the ever loving **** out of the arab nations in several wars, but because they are jews, plain and simple.

the same **** has been going on for the past 2000 years. they dont like each other, fact.

but yeah, your right, all those istances were the same as a WAR ON TERROR. we were attacked, we went after countries that harbored terrorist, and/or support terrorist, in which IRAQ was one of those countries.

And Mustangeater, your absolutly right we have the best healthcare in the world, but we only offer it to the insanely rich. As a whole from the poorest of the poor to the richest of the rich on average we are lacking.
really, isanely rich eh? my family is middle class, and we get damn good healthcare.

would your solution be that we give everyone in america, rich/poor/ illegal aliens the same level of health care?

    communism......anyone?

Couple points I would like to make.

        1. The United States has the best healthcare personelle (physicians, nurses, etc)

        2. There is a substantial amount of healthcare costs tied up in bureaucracy that could be eliminated, a smaller amount when physicians have to practice "legalistic/defensive" medicine, and a very tiny amount because of "shotgun" medicine Then there is the fact that diagnostic tools such as Spiral CT, MRI, or PET cost extreme amounts of money to buy and operate.

        3. Trickle down economics doesn't work. Even George HW Bush knew this. That is why he called it "Voodoo Economics."

        4. Bush Jr is not a true conservative in really any way that actually matters.

        5. Drug costs are high in this country because of a multitude of reasons. Mostly because the pharmaceutical companies are a cartel, but also because the United States is one of the few areas where they can recoup their R&D money and also make a profit.

do you think that if a poll was taken in america about france's prime minister, and the overwhelming thought was that all americans hate frances prime minister, that france would change their goddamn prime minister because of what another country thinks? hell no! so why should we, americans, give two ****s about what france, or any other country thinks about us.

Sheep my a$$. You can't even begin to compare Bush to France's prime minister. Do you see the f*cking prime minister invading Iraq so his family can make money off inflated oil prices?

And if we shouldn't give two sh*ts about what other countries think about us, why is Bush giving them all our f*ckin' money? If Bush is so damn great, why has he sent millions (if not billions) to Iraq after going over there and blowing some sh*t up? What's the point in blowing all that sh*t up if you're gonna hand them our money to rebuild it? The word for today, ladies and germs, is....PUSSY! [/QB]</font>
Amen to that!

I love my health care. It's about $17 for both my wife and me. If what I need is on base, it's free, including prescriptions and medicine. If I need to go off base, prescription fills cost $9, and there usually isn't a co-pay to see anyone. If I have an emergency, all I have to do is call Tricare within 24 hours, and I have no obligations. But, then again, I'm in the military.

a fox news poll last year revealed that something like 70% of participants weren't even aware of who france's prime minister is.

cuba routinely sends more medical aid than the U.S., and actually tops the world in terms of aid per capita.

besides, i thought conservative types were against spending?

i will actually sort of agree on that assessment, but there is no need to characterize anybody who disagrees with what happened, or what's happening now, as a "sheep."

apparently there was no "exit" strategy.

this war was planned years prior to september 11th, before the PNAC even knew who their candidate was going to be. along came george w. bush and a world crisis... combine, simmer at medium heat, and we have the "war on terror."

wars against ideas haven't worked yet.

i will actually sort of agree on that assessment, but there is no need to characterize anybody who disagrees with what happened, or what's happening now, as a "sheep."
i used sheep, cause one of the previous posters sounds like he just finished watching Farenhieght 911, and took everything word for word.

wars against ideas haven't worked yet
there was a picture ive seen, and i hope i can dig it up soon, but anywho it said "Except for slavery, communism, nazism, and facism war never solved anything.

I wish saddam was still in power. If the people want a revolution, its the peoples responsibility. You can't force freedom upon people, and if Saddam was such a bad guy why did bush have to lie to the American people about why we were going in?

About the land grab go read a history book. East germany, poland huge chunks of china, and a whole bunch of small eastern countrys were swallowed up by USSR at the end of WWII.

The first country hitler invaded, The US, and all of europe allowed him to invade because he said he needed a "buffer" zone between himself and poland I beleive it was. Brilliant idea isin't it? The point is that he said he was making his country safer, just like bush says we are safer. But like you said hitler's real intention wasn't to make his country safer. What do you think bush's real intentions are?
