God Damn when is my bad luck going to end? UPDATE

OK so lately i have had nothing but probelms when it comes to my Camaro. Not mechanical problems (just had the rear-main fixed $600) but more of random ****. Some of you remember me posting about my car being hit in the parking lot well now today i was driving into town and this truck veered into my lane and the ****er hit my rear quater panel and sped off! :mad: I guess that is the best spot for him to hit though becuase cant u pop those yourself? If so, how? I cant believe my luck lately!

OK, so a little more details, its before the rear wheel on the drivers side avove the trim. It didnt touch the door, it is about the size of my palm and about 1/2inch deep. Can i take that out myself? How? If not, how much to get it professionally fixed?

Sorry to hear about your luck, what a bummer. If you take the panel off on either side, you can get to the sheetmetal. Use a rubber mallet or a block of wood and a hammer to knock it out. Take your time a little bit at a time. Don't use too much force, you don't want to make a ding from the inside. I did that once on my old Camaro. I put a towel around the block of wood. The ends of the block are pointy, thats what caused my pings outward. If it is on the passenger side, you may have to take the power antenna out. Spare too. I forgot which side that is on. (Never used mine) but I think it is the passenger. If you have the monsoon stereo, the speakers will just unplug. The amp is on the passenger side too I think. I hope that helps, and good luck. Oh, if it's lower then that, take a wheel off and the inner fenderwell plastic to get to it. The little push pin things you can get at a autopart store if you need to replace them. (Plastic). Above I meant the panels inside the car on each side of the hatch area, forgot to say that. Having a blond day. Jessica [img]smile.gif[/img]
