get and hold the middle
always make sure that the opponent has to jump you and put himself one away from the wall
once you hold the wall and the corners you are an unstoppable jumping machine, almost like Terminator, but not quite so manly
seriously hold one complete wall and usually you can jump all his pieces all the way to the other wall

Yeah... I dont have much problem getting the middle squares, but then it gets hairy. Even if I get the walls, my opponent always seems to get the corners and its downhill from here.
