  • Guy Offered To Trade His LT1 for My V6

So stopped at my local corner store to get a 12 when i was coming out a guy in a TA offered to trade his 94 Trans Am for my 94 Camaro.

    The bad: no a/c
    no t-tops
    165k miles

    My car is a 6
    with a/c and tops

i think i would jump on it but the 165k kind of makes me thing twice

    what do you guys think?

I would have to assume there is a reason he wants to make the trade. If you are interested tell him you want to take it for a drive and take it to a garage or something you trust and have them look at it. Also run a carfax report on it.

a v-8 with alot of miles you have to figure its been pretty well beat to hell.

Thats exactly what i was thinking 165k thats a lot of drivers, i know at least 1 of them had to have had dogged the hell out of that LT1.

Like I said in the other LT1 post, I know of one that went 200k without any problems. I'd take it to a trusted mechanic and have them look it over. If it's in good order, it might be alright.

Whats the year and milage on your car?

That's sounds pretty good. I would do just that.

That Bud Select is probably the best beer I have ever tasted. I hate Bud Light with a passion.

You can't deny the power of a 12 pack of a Natty Light for $3.50 though
