So Ive been back together with my girlfriend for about 5 months now and wednesday I decide to come clean with something I had doen when we were apart. We broke up over the summer and she went off and got with this guy after about 2 weeks....i found out got pissed and never thought we would get back together so I got with her ex best friend. ANYWAY wednesday night were talking and shes like"I know theirs something ur not telling me" long story short I admit to messing around with her friend. So she breaks up with me and says were never getting back together. My point is she did the same crap with that guy but now its not the same since I did it. When we got back together past summer we both said clean slate no lies and well i couldnt tell her what i had done. Well so much for the clean slate I lied and kept it from her for 5 months and stupidly came clean. POINT OF THE STORY...never come clean unless ur caught and never admitt to anything unless its from the accuser. I thought maybe her ex best friend had told some people and I would have rather been the one to tell her. It was stupid to do anyway. This is what i get for trying to come clean. Ive apologized and she says its to much. I dont think theirs anything I can do.Yet she did the same thing and now thinks her %^& doesnt stink. AHHHHH lol owell back to working on the car and the game.......

You guys need to realize something before you start to say "nice guys never get anything".. I'm a nice guy. Meet me in person, I'll treat you like I've known you for years and I'll do anything for you. I treat everyone with respect, etc..I'm the typical "nice guy" that never gets the ladies. I still manage to get exactly who I want because of the confidence I give off. I'm a nice guy in disguse.. especially when it comes to the girls. You need to get the mentality that they're lucky to have YOU, and they're not doing you any favors. You can't be all scared and unsure. Your 6'4, weigh 400 pounds of solid muscle and can benchpress a hummer. You have 2.5 million in offshore bank accounts and a slong that requires special elastic underwear from the internet. Get that mentality, get the ladies.

From what I've learned (I'm not saying I'm the best, I'm not saying I know everything..but from one nice guy to another, here's what could help) the girls don't want an *******, but *******s have the confidence they crave. They want to feel protected, they want a guy who is sure of himself and doesn't need her help.

I hope this helps a few of you guys..I wish someone had told me...I had to learn this the hard way, and lose someone I really cared about (She didn't like Camaros though, it woulda never lasted ;) ).

Yea I wonder what shes thinking right now.....I guess I just know that everyone makes mistakes and since Im a nice guy I forgive shttt way to easy....Im not god to decide their fate. Forgive and forget. If ur in it for the long haul I think everyone will realize that. We all make mistakes......sucks when this crap happens.

Nice guys never finish last. It's the guys with low self-confidence who are too shy to ever aproach a girl in real life who finish last. *******s don't always get the girls, the guys who have the balls to get up and talk to a girl get the girls.

Ditch the girl. Unless you really want to go begging back, find someone else. If she really had feelings for you, she would have understood that it was while you guys were seperated, so it doesn't matter. Find someone else, there are plenty of them...

And it sounds as if your relationship was founded on shaky ground anyways, and MAYBE, just MAYBE, she actually didn't want to get back together with your, or when she did, realized it was a mistake, and this was a way out for her. You could've said a lot of things that would have made her "jet." And, that saying IS wrong. It's not the nice guys that finish last, it's the guys who are too damn afraid to make any kind of aggessive move on a girl because they "respect" them. Thus, you go into the whole thing on a friendship level, and the girl adapts her mentallity to that. Threfore, it's all about how you approach the situation.

Girls don't like jerks (or at least the ones who aren't in HS or first couple years of college)....I'm dating this girl who's in a Sorority and she hates all the frat guys because of how "jerky" they are.

Plus, going after her Ex-friend... :rolleyes: And, depending on how you guys ended the first time, I wouldn't have gotten back together with her. ESPECIALLY, since the grounds of you guys getting back together included complete honesty and no lies and coming clean. That means the reason you guys broke up was beause of some trust issue or something. NOT A GOOD foundation for a relationship. You shoulda saw this coming.

I'm not trying to be rude by any means because I know the truth is hard to tell lots of times. We don't want to hurt the ones we care about so we don't tell them things. But the truth is very important to relationships, if you don't have the truth then the relationship really has no purpose. You should have told her the truth before you got back together with her. I know its hard to do but it should have been done. The lesson is to tell her the truth from the beginning, not to never tell her the truth. You probably don't care about this right now, but an honest relationship is the best kind there is, but it is difficult in this day an age to get two people together like that because you really have to put your feelings on the line and make yourself vulnerable. I just consider all my previously failed relationships as practice. Hopefully, I can find someone one day.

Yea man but at the same time.....I never thought I was getting back with her and so I knew she wouldnt get back with me if I told her that....the fact is I screwed up a great relationship and ow I have to deal with it....Im a dumb@ss and fcked up...funny thing is I was honest with everything else I just couldnt tell her that part...Im such a dumbass with hard decisions sometimes but fck it...Ill just have to deal with it...now the grieving period is over and now Im just mad at everything....this stage sucks.
