They said on the radio today that a weather plane dropped a sensor and saw a gust of 210 mph, at only 350 above sea level. :eek:

The power company still says I'll have power back on Tuesday. The storm is supposed to be here on Tuesday, so I think it'll be a little longer than that.

I hope everything turns out already for Florida... I hear where Charlie and Frances crossed (some lake) hadn't had a hurricane since the 60s... now they're getting 3 in two weeks.

Home Depot and everything are still pretty bare. Half the gas stations around here are still empty. I filled up today for the first time since Frances came through.
