IMHO, one of the top songs Metallica plays.
I also love Fade to Black. That is an awesome song when stepping onto the ice for warmups for hockey.

Ah, a man that speaks the truth! Metallica is so overplayed here in Denver it's not even funny! I'm tired of hearing their music, over and over. Before anyone says for me to "put in a CD" or anything such as that, please remember that CD players are not an option in a cop car. If only my job had more things happen on a nightly basis. :(

oddly enough master of puppets is in the cd player in the firebird.
and yes, metallica have been a bit insane lately. but then again, worrying about the politics/behavior of the "artists" would vastly limit my music selection. i console myself with the fact most of my $$$ goes to the record label.
regardless of Metallica's crusades against Napster (which sucked anyway), they are still the best heavy metal band. I saw them on the Summer Sanitarium tour last summer, and it was the hands-down best concert i've ever been to. I'm going to see them again next week with Godsmack.

i agree with this guy. if it sounds good, then i listen to it. who gives a damn what the artist does outside of the recording studio. just because you listen to them doesnt mean you have to adopt their personal views on life. get over it already, jeez.

Let's not forget their masterpiece known as Disposable Heroes!
"You will do, what I say, when I say, back to the front!!"
My Metallica Studio Album Listing (greatest to still great but you know...)
1. Master of Puppets
2. ...And Justice for All
3. Metallica (black album)
4. Ride the Lightning
5. Kill Em All
6. St. Anger
7. Reload
8. Load
I don't count S&M or Garage Days cuz they're just remixes/live and covers mostly.
Anyways, Metallica pwnz j00, admit it they still freakin rock harder than just about anyone else!
I have loved Metallica for the longest time. I have been listening to them for at least 12 years now. I would have to say as much of a fan that I am I did stop buying anything else by them since Load (except for S&M because it contained their old music). I really don't like any of their new songs. OH well they still rock.
I've listened to Metallica since I was in grade school. 23 now and still rock out to em. I even copied disposable heroes as a poem of some sort I had to write in high school back in the day. Got an A. Master of puppets is prolly my favorite song. That album in general is my favorite I think.
And as for hating an artist because of stupid crap they do. If I did that, I'd not own any cds. Name a musical artist that hasn't done some ***hole thing in their life and I'll show you a monk with a guitar thats locked in a monastary. Though I will say, I hate new metallica stuff. That newest cd is horrid in comparison with master of puppets or any of the albums prior.
Still trying to find oil leak on my Camaro, it’s a tough one. I think it is the oil pressure sender myself. Leaking when raving and going into boost....
