So i don't know if this is going to get deleted or not cause i know this isn't a "catch all" topic section but this is actually a question that i seriously want answered. How much beer does it take you to get drunk? Now here is why i want this question answered...alot of people say that how much you can drink really has alot to do with how much you weight, how often you drink, how old you are, what race you are, what % fat vs. muscle you are, and alot of other stuff is really said to influance how much liqure you can take...so i was kind of wondering if some people that drink BEER, cause i would like to keep at least one thing constant, and please tell me when you are drinking beer how much of it it takes you to get a GOOD buzz going, i know that is all interpreted, but just tell me how much beer it takes you to get what you consider a good buzz going. Then please tell me your age, weight, height, then if you know it your approximate body fat(if you don't try and give me an idea of what you can do at the gym, and if you don't know that just put a ? mark), body build, race, and approximetly how often you drink any kind of alch...i am going to try and write a paper on this and turn it into something productive, so please don't delete this post.
And yes i realize not to many people drink beer, especially pound it, so please put over what amount of time, that beer is consumed. And if you absolutly don't drink beer like my good friend Batman, please share how many shoots...not drinks, cause i want to know ozs of alch, shots of alch get you to the status we are looking at. But i perfer beer if you can.
And i am actually really thinking about doing a study on this now, so if you could put if it is an estimate or if you are guessing it would really help, cause some of me and my buddies are going to test this out now and compare the results.

19, 180, 6ft, about 25% or so, heavy body build, irish/itilian, and i drink probably 6-8 times a month. It takes me about 8 beers to get a good buzz going, and quite a few more to get drunk, and that is over an hour to an hour and a half.
My last day of finals is tomorrow, and i will check those numbers tomorrow, just to make sure that i am being accurate, but i am pretty sure those are right on.

Please include the amount of time that you drink it over and your race.
And when you say that i need a new beer, i usally drink a bud or something along that line. But it still takes me 2 40s of mickes to get good.

even tho you feel it at 4 or more beers or what not, technically you are drunk by 4 beers. 1 beer is equal to .02 BAC. So the law says you are drunk even tho you feel nothing. Trust me i know by first hand experience.

anyway

23-140lbs-15% fat-german background. It takes me 3 beers to start feeling anything now. I drink maybe 2-4 times a month now. a year or so ago I was able to go through 12 before feeeling anything. Also depends on tolerance also.

to realize I am drinking 4-5, buzzing gogod 6-8, really drunk 10ish... I can polish off a 12 pack.

This is apporximate averages with Bud ice/ICehouse/yeungling... Little more with Bud light...

Hard to say if I am sitting with pitchers of beer it generally goes fast.

As for alcohl hard to say, I can drink whiskey like it was water, compared to other alcohols.

I usually mix 8-12 ounces of whiskey, jim beam/Jack daniels. Also done ~12 oucnes of Johnny Walker... all 80proofish.. I can usually drink 30 ouces or so before I start getting drunk. 15-20 to start feeling it.

On the other hand, my new favorite beer is Baltica #6 Russian import. its kind of like Guiness with molasses. 1 is very filling. Half way through the 2nd, I am feeling the 1st one. By the time I finish the 2nd I have a nice happy buzz and quite while Im ahead.

I have actually never been beat in a beer chugging competition. My friends take me around to different bars and what not like in Mexico and we get standing orders for the night to see if anyone can beat me, and no one has been able to yet. If we are chugging out of cups, one beer in each cup, my record is 2 beers in a little under 6 seconds, but that was back when i was fat and i drank quite a bit quite often, i think i do it in a little under 7 now(remember that is with the transition from one cup to another)...we used to have a video of it, but my friend deleted it. And like this weekend in Vegas we went around the strip betting people that they couldn't beat me, cause i don't look intimidateing, after all i am 180 pound 19 yearold kid...but i also have pretty good endurance. I think it would be sick if we all set something up where we had a BEER-A-THON, or a DRINK-A-THON, cause i am sure that Batman and Goldbird and stuff would all be down to play, we could get all the different regions in on it and what not.

Ya know guys, it does make a big difference whether you drank 12 beers in an hour, or over the course of 4 hours, and none of you posted elapsed time. I think you need to remind them all again Ender, lol.

I dont pay much attention to how much time has gone by but this Friday I'll do some research for you.

I generally drink them quick, I usually pour them in a glass, as I prefer it that way over a bottle.
