  • what size boxing gloves?

    after reading this stuff about boxing, it got me interested and i think im gonna get a pair of gloves. what size of gloves should i get? i've been looking on ebay and i've been seeing 10-16oz. gloves and i dont know which is best for a beginner

    I think that 16 would be good for you. When my friends and I first started we tried 16's. Yes it is amazing how quick and tired you get just from stepping around a small little ring throwing a few punches but if you do it frequently you should get use to the gloves quickly.

      heavier is better if you just want to work out. Also me and my friends are using 15 oz gloves. Still hurts when u get a good hit but imagine whatd it be like with 12....

        i got 2 pairs on ebay for $20 shipped. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...e=STRK:MEWN:IT . they're probably really cheap, but oh well, no big loss.

          I use 12oz
