• My New 97 Firebird

Well, I finally took some pics of my new firebird. It has the 3.8 with a five speed manual shift. A/C, C/C, factory cd player, t-tops, I love this thing. I just wanted to share it with you since I will probably be on here a lot looking up info and things like that. 74,800 miles and have a 36,000 mile extended warranty to help for the unexpected. Before I took ownership, the dealer replaced the driver headlight motor, and replaced both valve cover gaskets. Thanks for looking!

Welcome. Your member # is almost the same as 3800.
There is fast, too fast, and way too fast. Way too fast is almost fast enough.

I paid $5900 for the car. I am not sure how much of a deal this was, but I love this 3.8 engine and the color just stands out for me. I just hope with regular maintenance that it can take me over 200,000 miles. That would be great!

The purple look's great! you definently need some tint tho. I'm thinking about buying another f-body that's for sell around my neighborhood. Its a green 93-97 firebird. Anyway's, good luck and welcome to the board.

The 3.8 is bullet proof. You should be able to go farther then 200k without any major problems from the engine.
