  • airlines- ( transporting a handgun? )

Im goin to orland on wednesday.. i was wondering if anyone knows the rules on carrying firearms in your luggage, or if it's even allowed on the plane.
Do i need a special permit or any good things like that?
I know you cant just be like oh throw the gun in and go, or carry it on lol but if it's in a locked guncase without ammo is it doable?

    Anyone know?

You need to contact the airline before trying. It's a complete pain in the a$$ to get it done, but not impossable.

That's not an automatic right, I think you can only own ones that are modyfied to be semi-auto?

I don't know we can't even own a bb gun in Chicago. I've never fired a real gun. :(

                        its a semi auto.
                        full auto's are illegal.
                        but it's still fun!

ill have to check it out a bit more. i have a hard surfaced guncase for it, but it doesnt have a locking device, it has two clips to hold it shut.. and i obviously wouldnt bring ammo with so ill call and check.

Don't you just need a spring or something to make the AK fully auto?

Either way, I'd suggest guns + airports = security searching your *ss for various things.

Im not really sure, i heard it was pretty complicated to make fully-auto.

it gets really hot, and it's only semi auto, i cant imagine fully.
                              that thing would melt ;)

yeah i can picture.. hi i have a gun in my bag, and watch my *** get tackled by like 4 huge guys.
and then they would search my ***... and piss me off.
