    ok I want to put the car in my name and stuff it that way it really my car.

    every freaking place is telling me, 4000 per year, my driving record is clean now. WTF is goign on.

    im 20 will be 21 when i get my insurance.

    Well Im 19 I pay 450 a month...my advice is check out esurance.com i will prolly be switching to them got a quote for 300 a month full cov and thats with one claim 1,000+...

      Well in Massachusetts I was paying $1700 /yr at 22 with 1 speeding ticket, 1 no-license/inoperable equipment, 1 illegal passing on the left. I believe the company was Prudential.
      Now in VA I pay $1200 without the speeding ticket. Insurance is through e-surance. (I am now 25).

        i am through nationwide... and i'm the sole driver on my car, and it's 162 dollars a month with clean driving record.. but i get the good student discount still... so in reality it's probably 200 a month. I'm 20 also

          Just contacted the insurance company and due to only putting 1400 miles on the bird last year I got rid of full coverage and went to just liability only on the bird.

          Now, I pay $2200 per year
          $1600 for the neon
          $600 for the bird
          Race car - gone but not forgotten - 1997 firebird V6
          nitrous et & mph: 12.168 & 110.95 mph, n/a 13.746 & 96.38 mph

              ok wtf is goning on, my insurance will be cheaper with my V6 camaro and a 2002 Z06 on there then just the camaro.......

              BTW i called and gave them VIN#'s (my cars vin and a VIN from a Z06 off ebay) and localtion so if i was to buy th insurance today it would have only been like 162 month :confussed: WTF is up with this

                2 cars are 2002 Camaro v6, i'm primary, and a 99 Ford E-150, Dads primary... btw when I lived in Ga, the same insurance was 367 a month... :[

                  2 years ago when I was shopping for the Firebird I had a Ford Escort.... Payed almost $1000 a year for the Escort (still had truck, same setup). AND it would have been a little cheaper yet for me to buy a 1972 Trans Am... 400hp death trap... 200hp firebird. hmmmm.
