• spent too much money

When i get into something i really get into it. well back in march i really got into hooking up my car. i just sat down to figure out when i spent on my car ONLY in the last 2-3 months. i figured out that the MIN that spent was $8559. in the last 2 and a half years i have spend a min of $12000.(that includes install cost on some stuff too) how nuts is that. just thinking about that is making me sick. but i'm fine with it cause i work hard for my money. no one helped me buy anything. i have a good job, only 21, still live at home, etc. i figure, why not do it now!

Ouch, i got my z28 for $12k. I dumped less then $200 into my V6 Camaro in accessories/speed when I had it. I saved for my z28 and now I've dumped $2500 into it. I also have a nice job, with being a full time school, it's only a car, I won't blow it all on it.

Unfortunately you won't see much of that cash when you try to resell the car.

LOL Did I say I could beat you? Did I say had $2500 into it, could be a cam job, could be nitrous, could be weight reduction. LOL I'll save ya from getting into an argument. Yes, all us z28s are slow and modded V6s take us all the time
I prefer the V8, you prefer the V6. We'll leave it at that.

BTW 21 and living at home... thats no fun...

\I just calculated that I have spent ~$27,000 in rent/utilities since I moved out when I was 18. Not including food costs and others my parents woudl take care of if I lived with them.

But the money was worth all the life experiences 10,000 times over.

as for my car now, I think I did a post awhile ago, worked out I spent like $2,000 in my car for everything i did on it, from repairs, maintenace and upgrades... that includes t-tops, wheels/tires, etc...

Don't get me started ... it's fun for a while ... but in the end it's just a car ...

Exactly I enjoy modding my car but it is definitley not my main focus, I have more fun running it then I do modding it.
