If we don't deal with Iraq, I'm sure we will end up dealing with them in a big way later on. Over tens years of lies and breaking UN resolution.

There is now evidence that Iraq has been buying weapons from France, Iran, Russia, and Syria. They are also providing shelter and training facilities for Alqueeda. They secretly did this and the evidence shows activities from 1988 to 2002. Today, our soldiers are being attack by bombs and mortars made in these countries. Why did you guys think that we didn't get much support from France and Russia.

Now my question for you guys. Should we wait for another major consequences to happen to us?

I support what Bush is doing and the majority of the Arm forces does agree too. And they know more than we do.

Take the fight to their land rather than take the fight here. Who cares if the world hates us. The world hated us from the beginning. Look how people from different coutries celebrated when 9/11. You can see them dancing in the streets. Shouting America deserves it, they had it coming to them.

I totally disagree with Kerry when he flip flops again by saying that he would remove troops from Iraq. That would indeed be another Vietnam. And all those who died, would have wasted their lives for sure. I say, finish it and let Iraq become democratic. In the end, we will benefit from it.

I support Bush. Sadam has been a threat/problem for a very long time. I support the attacking of Iraq and freeing the people. Sadam doesnt kill you when you do something bad, he kills everyone your associated with to make you live with the thought of you killing your friends/family. His 2 sons were more evil than him. I mean hell for fun they raped women with broken glass bottles. WTF!? Yaull think this should go on? I see the point about we shouldnt be over there. If we didnt go over there eventually they would of came over here attacking us. If bush wanted oil so bad he would of went next door to IRAN and took them over. I think Bush did the right thing taking out a future threat. Back when Bush SR was in power did Iraq get help from France in building a nuclear facility in which they could get Uranium? If you look back through history u can see clearly Sadam has been asking for it for a long time coming.

I believe Osama will show up shortly. We have been on his trail for a long time and its just a matter of time before he slips up.

eric rudolph evaded park rangers, cops, the FBI, ATF, and US marshals in the middle appalachians for 8 YEARS.

i'm not convinced he'll ever be caught, so to speak. it doesn't matter if he's caught anyway; his lower busybodies seem to be doing a great job in his absence.

one thing i'm convinced of, however, is that this will turn out exactly like the war on drugs.

Iraq has been a threat to no other country since 1992.

24 Feb 2001 In Cairo, Secretary of State Colin Powell declares: "He has not developed any significant capability with respect to weapons of mass destruction. He is unable to project conventional power against his neighbors."

Does that sound like a threat? If you are unable to project power, you can't be a threat. Kind of like your 1975 Pinto vs my 2004 Corvette.

There are more links that the US had with Iraq and Osama than Iraq had with anyone.

The hijackers? The majority were Saudi. The planner? Saudi. The guy Bush goes after in a fit of unparalled brillance, Saddam.

Why? To show up his father? Because Saddam tried to kill his father? (BTW, he earned quite a few cruise missiles for his pains, courtesy of Clinton.)

Sure, he would fling a SAM or two at a plane in the no-fly, but the site that did it got bombed for it. Not a cause for war. And how many countries did he invade from 1992 to 2003? Or even sent troops to the border?

As Powell stated, and as a former CJCS who would know better, Iraq was no threat.

Do you Iraq naysayers believe that Saddam is a safe dictator to keep around? Safe and dictator even look wrong in a sentence.

I rather us take heat and take out dictators in power then have them attack us later, surprised, when we think it's okay to let them do their thing.

It's a good thing to minimize world threats, even if some countries are against it. Forcing our beliefs on them, however, is a tough issue. Now that I think about it, a show called "Pimp My Camel" may be a good thing for them after all.

is Saddam a Terrorist?

Yes

was he related to 9/11

who cares

Since Saddam is a terrorist does it not make sense to remove him since this is the War on Terror?

at the risk of not answering your question and instead answering the question i wish was asked, i would say that the u.s. has had plenty of friends that it has considered "good dictators." i'm sure you know the whole "the enemy of my enemy is my friend thing."

i don't feel any more or less safe with saddam gone, especially considering countries out there like indonesia or malaysia are dumping out some pretty crazy human weapons.

the difficulty i find in this is defining terrorism. truth is relative to experience.

Last I heard, he was caught. I agree with his theory on abortion clinics, but not his method of disposal lol Personally, I think abortion clinics are no different than Hitler's concentration camps.....line 'em up and kill 'em....that's how they work. But I don't agree with the bombing part of it. If he wanted to do that, he should've waited till after hours when no one was around lol

What's really funny is the ones who kill themselves and take 8 or 9 others with them. To them, that's a noble thing 'cuz it's embedded in their religion. They think they'll get 7 virgins in the afterlife for it. I hate to disappoint them, but there aren't 7 virgins left in the world!

So by some of your opinions, we should just invade every country on the face of the world. Terrorists aren't restricted to borders. There is no country called Terror. We invaded Afghanistan and they moved. We invaded Iraq and still no Bin Laden. What country would be next? Libya, North Korea, Sudan?
But I feel I must say this again to the masses that missed it the first time. I support the war in Iraq. I don't support the lies we were told as to why we MUST go to war. If some of people out there enjoy being lied to, then elect Bush and get 4 more years of it.
But to anyone else that proclaims that anyone who is against the war has forgotten about 9/11, I say this. Have you forgotten about how the US government originally funded and trained Bin Laden back when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan in fear that communism would spend? The mideast has always been an interest to US policies but don't suddenly get mad when the inhabitants of that region don't want us sticking our noses where they don't belong. Just by being there, we are asking for ongoing problems which I am sure will be worse than 9/11.

How can Saddam be a terrorist? He was installed as a leader of a sovereign nation by the United States. He may have been a totalitarian dictator that liked to kill people, but he wasn't a terrorist.

BTW Kerry doesn't want to just pick up and leave from Iraq. The pro-Bushies need to either educate themselves or stop lying about that one. Since he has some common sense, he realizes that at this point a withdrawl would not be in the best interest of the United States. This is a sign of a decent leader. You analyze the situation and make a decision. You do not maintain the same idiotic mentality no matter what happens in an attempt to project an image of "being a strong leader" to the dumbasses of the nation.

You haven't been paying attention. But then again, he flip flop so much its hard what he would say next. He just going by what's going to get him more vote.

For you information, he said this himself in his campaign in Ohio. First he said, if he was elected President he would finish the job in Iraq. Second he said, he would reduce the troops by 6% in Iraq in his 1st year term and then gradually throughout the years. Then now he's saying we should pull out because we are spending too much money and it could have gone to education, health care and health research.

I spent lots of time analyzing the two. For example Bush Rep. Convention which was way better than Kerry's, took the stand and stands firm on that ever since. Kerry is still flip flopping and his Convention was all about inspiration and no stance on anything.

I wish Bush was a Democrat, because I've been voting Democrat ever since I became legal. But not this time.

To those of you that thinks this is a conventional war, it is not. We are not fighting soldiers in uniforms, that follows the geneva convention's rules. We are fighting a totally different war, terrorism. In countries that are sorrogate teritories of the former Soviet Union. They are making nuclears and weapons of mass destruction. They are employing former unemployed Soviet's nuclear scientist.

I agree with my uncle who is a vietnam vet and is against what Kerry did after vietnam. Why wait to get hit again, hit them first.

Look how much people protested when we have all this info. leading up to 9/11 and we did nothing.

Americans, really do have short attention span. We wait for consequences.

I won't say anymore. Because I can go on forever. I got relatives over in Iraq and they truly believe in the mission. They know more than I do.

</font>
Where in the world did you here about terrorist in the former Soviet Union making nuclear weapons and other WMDs? I hope not from Bush's CIA seeing how they did such a great job with the info about Saddam and nuclear weapons and WMDs. And the last time I checked, the troops in Iraq believe in their mission of helping the people of Iraq. Again, you are so narrow-minded that you don't understand what is being said. I don't have a problem with the war, I have a problem about being lied to by our government. If Bush wanted to go to war to finish what his daddy started or to help the oppressed people of Iraq but instead he went with a made up story about our Saddam was helping Al Queda, buying nuclear material and stockpiling WMDs. That was the story that would have gotten the most reaction to go to war.
And yes, Kerry voted to support action against Iraq but once he saw how Bush was f***ing it up, he changed his mind as did many other Democrats and Republicans. But of course no one wants to talk about that.
