Cool.. I guess.. I dont know if I want to win at this but whatever.. I think I am going to end up selling the 2000 T/A I have.. We are having a baby in July and having 2 T/A's isnt something my girl see's as being responsible parents.. She doesnt mind 1 but 2 I dont think I can make it fly!! I will be selling it pretty cheap.. Probably 6500.00.. But that wont be untill June when and If I sell it.. It books for 13,500 in excellent shape but its in good shape so probably 11,000 bb.. Its a big difference driving in the 2000 then in the 2002.. You can just tell the 2000 is older.. It mught just be the WS6 package or what not.. We are not trying to make any money from it just trying to hook someone up with a great car for a great deal.. Thats if we do sell it..

I bought the car for 7500.00.. It had 58,000 miles on it now it has 64,000.. Its a 6 speed, black with black leather, I put my ws6 hood on it from my v6, It has long tubes, off road y-pipe, hooker cat back, lid, mas air, tb, Black Z06 rims, short throw, and N20.. It has a 100,000 mile warrenty for the powertrain that I got from the dealership I bought it from.. I paid 7500 cash for it.. they were asking 8995.00..

Oh yeah it has a LS6 intake on it now!! Got it today!!

Yeah I will.. It depends if she will let me keep it or not.. If I do sell it I am taking off the Nitrous, and swapping parts with my 02.. I still have a stock TB on my 02 so I will put the ported one from the 2000 on my 02, I have mac mid length headers on my 02 so I will swap the long tubes over to my 02 and put the mids on the 00, and I might swap the wheels.. I dont know about the wheels.. I like the 02 WS6 wheels, and I like the black Z06 wheels.. I will try to get some pics of the cars and post them up here..

exactly the price range I listed... You can have a 7-8 year old car for $14k. I personally would rather have a car 4 years newer and $4k cheaper.

Yes worse then a F-body by far...

and you know what I never understood why people love cars with inflated resale values.

I mean don't get me wrong if it has a horrible resale value DO NOT BUY IT NEW. but if its used... you are saving ALOT of money. You are also getting alot of car for the price. Even if it does go down in value, you still end up on top, because you paid so little for it in the first place.

Its like my friends accord it got stolen and was appraised at $10k, even though it was a 97(7 years old at the time) and had 120k.

Its just stupid to pay $10k for ANY car with 120k miles on it. ANY car will start needing some work around 150k+

Besides we all know th enew f-body is coming out in like 2 years, once it does with the ls2, watch prices of ls1s drop like flies, like when the new stang came out. Or the lt1 when the ls1 came out.

You buy a 99 ls1, for $14k, I gurantee, in 2 years when the new f-body comes out it will be worth like $6k.

And a 00-02 Mustang you get for $8-9k, will be worth like $4-5k. You lost less money and you have a newer car that will hold up a little better overall then your older f-body.

You can get a 1994 Z28 with the same amount of miles on it for 5-6k.. I guess it depends on how old the car is .. The Foxbodies are still selling for 5-10k depending on what condition they are in..

                            • I almost bought a auto, t-top, 1986 z28 for $200 no typo.

so now you are sayying $5k ls1s are common?

there are built 5.0s selling for more then $5k, but the average stockish/bolt on 5.0 is more like $1k-3500 depending on the condition.

IF I wanted there is a guy, not sure if he is still selling it but had a turn key 10 second street car 5.0, that looked perfect, for $6k

And you will see lt1s selling for $6k, but like I said you will see them selling for that much but in reality they end up going for like $2500
