  • My GF is the Best!!!!

Today I learned GF's are good for something besides "fun".

Today my girlfriend helped me with my on going build up. She generally doesn't like helping b/c i should "be spending time with her!" Today's goal, which failed miserably by the way, was to install a shift kit and corvette servo. Well we were on a roll until we lost 4 of the check balls and only found 3, and later lost the E clip on the servo pin which we found 20 mins later. The reason the goal fail miserably was b/c we both couldn't get the final snap ring on the servo cover (Can someone help us here??) We after we both really dirty and greasy we gave up after some 3 hrs of cussing, yelling, and fighting with each other. Well tomorrow is another day and hopefully my wonderfull GF still want to help after tonight.

You would be surpised what girls can figure out on cars that guys can't.

Its not that we failed, its that she was willing to help and didn't ***** until we failed. Actully she was a great help when I couldn't get part of the servo out and she got it out while I was getting a drink, I felt real stupid. Would your girlfriend spend 9 hrs under a car covered in transmission fuild?

We had just gotten a new windshield for the truck, and it had the backing piece of metal for the rearview mirror to bracket on to. unfortunately, the old bracket was still on the rearview. me and her dad tried to get that off there, and couldn't.

she looks at it, does her thing and two minutes later i attach it to the new backing piece on the windshield after she got the old piece off it...

I try to do all the work to my car, or at least attempt to learn how to do it. I love working on my car (and helping my boyfriend with his), especially with him teaching and helping me. It's fun! It's a good bonding time!

So your definition of a wonderful girlfriend is a girl who will cuss, yell and fight with you? Interesting... you realize you don't have to be working on a car to get her to do that.

Gee, that sounds great! Some girls really do like working on cars. I also do my own maintenance and repairs whenever I possibly can. Having a garage full of tools (thanks to my boyfriend) helps alot too. I help him and he helps me. Plus it's kind of fun to get covered in grease, then clean up and go out later. White95, congrats on having a cool girlfriend. :D

Forgive his girlfriend for not wanting to get all deep into it like you do. Just because he says she's great for that kind of thing doesn't mean he won't let her. Maybe she wants to help, just doesn't feel like getting as in depth.

But NONE can compare to the girls working on cars movement, right?! WE WILL NOT FETCH TOOLS FOR MEN!
