So were in South Carolina, on I-95 doing 80 mph. Its pretty early, so most of us are sleeping, then, WHAM.

Yep, the entire wheel came off. As we were slowing down, I watched the tire haul a$$ past us and off into the woods. For whatever reason, the lug nuts were loose and eventually the wheel wobbled free enough to snap the bolts. We spent an hour on the side of the road looking for this wheel and tire that went shooting into the woods. The girls were snapping the pictures as the guys were walking thru mud looking for the tire, so I dont have any good pics besides what you see.
So that means unfortunatley I didnt get a picture of this completley stock looking state trooper camaro that pulled off to help us. Even the Z28 badges were ripped off (I could hear it was an 8 from when he took off). Tinted windows to hide the lights inside. Man, I woulda had no idea if he was cruisin behind me, or beside me, or whatever... In NY, State Troopers cannot have unmarked cars.
So yea, interesting ride... By the way, the rim was pretty well destroyed and unusable when we found it.
