mileage is gonna suck during the diesel break in . It feels good to pay less than 1.50 a gallon again.

I was basically saying that going from a fbody to a truck is a big change. I personally dont like trucks hence the "its all in what you want". Plus ive heard once you go from a sports car to a truck youll never go back to a sports car again.

I bet. I am debating between the Cummings or the Duramax myself. I really like the way the 2500HD crew cab 4x4 GMC looks but the Cummings is an awesome motor.

honestly I would go with the cummins. I've heard alot of horror stories about the new 6.0 powerstroke. Ford should've stayed with the 7.1 that has proven itself. The duramax is a stout diesel but still too new and the 4 speed that is included is not great with the duramax. If you go with a chevy get the 5 speed allison automatic. However remember what happened when chevrolet introduced their first diesel. The cummins is a proven performaer and High output is wonderful.

Now I'm not a ford person really (only owned one), but powestrokes are alright. First my dad bought a f350 supercab dualy, then my uncle bought an f350 extended cab, then my cousin bought an f250 supercab; all with the 7.3L powerstroke.

They can haul like a mother. At my parents place at the lake, my parents had a rig with a dump bed on it bring gravel in. The rig got stuck and my dad's f350 pulled him out . Sure, it bent his bumper up a litte(just the pitch, bumper is fine), but he pulled that big truck out of the mud!

Diesel is $1.76 here, up from 1.69 a couple weeks ago. I'd love to have a diesel truck... or car for that matter!
