and touring transmission is automatic transmission... it's when you let computer descide for you, cuz you're just touring around and have no control over gearbox other than the control the computer grants you.

Auto in my maro, manual in my rx-7. Although I would be happier with the camaro as a manual.2000 silver A4 Camaro
Whisper lid; Free Ram Air; BMR stb; MSD super conductor wires; Gatorback belt?
1986 RX-7 (daily driver)

I go through GM automatics like they are food.
I had 2 4L60's fail in my 94 camaro. I had 3 700R4's fail in my 86 iroc, and I had 2 Th350's fail in my 71 Monte carlo.
When I bought my current car, the only stipulation I had was that it had to be a manny tranny.1999 red camaro v6 M5: with a turbo
13.52@107.99
No, seriously: Who Farted?
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/600086

You drive a manual, you steer an auto. :cool:www.RedLineVSix.com || 1996 Camaro, 15.159@92.5mph

i learned to drive on a manual but in the big city with stop and go driving an automagic is preferred.
as for steering an auto, its not too hard to get the auto transmission to do what you want. it doesnt shift fast enough for my liking but i can usually get it to hold the gear i want.

You had better be careful...
Auto = 1/4 mile car
