Hello, I am a proud owner of a '98 V6 Camaro which is running smooth and trouble free at this time. It's my nights and weekends car which is driven on sunny days only.
I also own a '97 4 cyl Honda Accord as a commuter car. 57,000 miles. A few days ago, the engine started to stutter when running higher than 3500 RPM's. It's only when you give the engine full acceleration. Basically, it seems like the engine is being starved from fuel or it is being limited at a certain RPM. The stuttering in turn causes the car's movement to jerk violently. (It's not a tranny issue becuasr the engine exhibits the problem in neutral) This is a new problem, as it did not behave like this before.
The engine light came on and has remained on since.
Does anyone out there have any suggestions as to what may be wrong? I searched the archives and can't seem to find a similar posting.
Thanks for your non-Camaro help and Happy New Year!!
