    is my air fitler too short?

    i just got a K&n filter from somebody and it supose to be for the 3.8l camaros i have a 96 3.8l and my stock air filter is liek a rectangle. is it supsoe to be the same shape?, becasue the k&n one is square and about half the length.

    yes its suppose to be the same. sounds like you got a filter for another car with a 3.8L
