depends on the import. stock for stock, we're quicker than quite a few cars. of course, there's always some modded imports that would blow us away.

if you want a technical answer, our cars don't have a very good power-to-weight ratio. 200 HP in a 3500 lb. car isn't fast.

EDIT: also, our engines are different. the 3800 V6 is designed with low-end torque in mind, not high-rev horsepower.

imports are faster because they're driven by younger, more immature kids. I mean, the kids with the mentallity that a simple CIA bought from ebay really opens up the 1.8L engine's potential.

How is it not surprising that these $30,000+ cars, boosted to the moon, are as fast as some of the V8s? I think they're about the same as the LS1.. I've read anywhere from 12.9-13.2 stock for an LS1.
