    im a c4 fan myself.
    my aunt has a 69 stingray w/427(real stingray)
    someone wrecked the nose and replaces the front with a datsun 280z front end and had the car painted from corvette yellow to turd brown. were in the process of fixing it back to stock
    The confusion surrounds me <br />change is imminent<br />if I were they<br />we could be great

        yes, the 1972 model of the corvette had a 350 engine that produced 200HP, but also 280lb-ft of torque. That was from the factory equipped with all the emissions crap. How many of them are still stock? I wouldnt doubt that with just a cam and some carb work that it could be up in the 300+ range. while many of those cars were choked from the facotry, it was much easier to get some easy horsepower out of than ours....
