hey nothing is impossible. look at me. i started out here as a V6, went thru SSM H/C, that didnt work, did the LS1 swap (best decision of my life btw), loved the LS1 so much bought a 2000 C5 for $26,500, then moved to wisconsin and sold all that speed for a decent 4X4.
and i know i am not the only one on this board that started out with a 6 and ended up with a vette.
i say get the vette, your kids will love it. mine did - all 4 of them!
