I would just tell her what you told us. As long as you really do like her and have too much on your plate to make a real go of it, and aren't just holding out for someone better, than the best thing to say to her is this:
I really like you, spending time with you, etc - I can't promise where it might lead, and right now I can't honestly put my best effort into a relationship... if we can keep it slow and just have fun spending time together, I would love that... if the time comes when that isn't enough for you, please sit me down and talk to me about it... my situation might have changed at that point. I don't want to risk losing you, but I'm afraid that if I try out a hardcore relationship when I know i'm not ready, I risk hurting you, which would be worse for both of us...
hopefully she'll respect that enough to be okay with that. If it's meant to be, it will... but at least she can't tell you that you weren't honest with her from the start.
p.s. Don't just sleep with her and then get up and leave (not that I think you would) - if she has low self-esteem issues, then that will really mess her up!... blonde moments happen to the best of us...Comment
