yup, suppose to comeright through montgomery, alabama if it stays on track. I have done all my prep work. (clean out the car garage for the maro) this is going to suck really bad if it hits land with 140 mph plus winds.

But at least it looks like it won't be too bad at her place. It's going ashore well west of her, so she should only get Tropical Storm or Cat 1 hurricane winds. Trees down and stuff, but at least it shouldn't knock down houses in that area.

Man...you're livin my life. [img]graemlins/rofl.gif[/img] I spent a good part of yesterday clearing out my category 5 garage so I could slide the bird on up in there before the storm. [img]graemlins/omg.gif[/img] My wife and kids are like, what about the minivan...what about the kid's car...and I'm like..."and leave my bird out for the pinetrees and the flying trashcans and stuff". We f-body folk tend to be just a little selfish when it comes to our 'maros and 'birds.
It looks like the track of Ivan will take it to our east. Just around the MS/AL line. We will still get some rough weather around here but we are all buttoned up in the house I've got my wife, four kids who are still living at home, my oldest daughter, her husband, and our two grandchildren, My oldest son and his fiancee' and a used car lot in the driveway...oh yeah...and my bird in the garage. Anyway, I'm gonna just sit here till the lights go out (and they will around here) and watch TV and [img]graemlins/popcorn.gif[/img] (i've always wanted to use that graemlin) Later friends...stay safe.

my dad owns a transmission shop there and lives in shorter. My brother races at montgomery motor speedway alot he is #18 running the late model pro stock i believe.

I live in dothan though.

Oh work just called and today at 12:00 we close until friday, and the day of friday its listen by ear... I was already scheduled off thursday and friday anyway lol but today i went in at 12:30 err was supposed to...

I live between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, and still had to go to shi**y work. Traffic is backed up from Baton Rouge to the Texas state line on I-10. Our stupid governer needs to get a clue and close the city of BAton Rouge (where I work for state gov) and let us go home before traffic gets worse.

it was funny, i was watching a **LIVE** news broadcast of this dude in ft walton and then about 25mins later, he was an hour away (doing about the speed limit in good weather) in pensacola doing a **LIVE** broadcast

careful guys, my friend jsut got back form Playa del Carment, and the storm surge, flooded all like 300 yards up into the city, and streets. Which is pretty crazy guys because it slants upwards.(well at least it did last time I was there [img]smile.gif[/img] )
