It doesn't take any longer to rip a cd in itunes than it does with any other program. With the whole tracks thing you need to be connected to the internet because it pulls the CD info from a database online. Not from the actual CD. If you don't like that then use another program to rip the CD then add the files to itunes. (fyi windows media player does the same thing)

Can't help with the video thing. Never used one.

For the video files, you need to convert the movies/videos to mp4 format. Search for a converter, then you simply go to File --> Add file to library, and it should put it in there. I tried it with a Family Guy episode with my friend's iPod Video, and it didn't work. Why, I don't know, but it should work for you.

i have the same one you have strtracer and i dont think it even came with a manual.

My friend has tried uploading some videos and he says if your uploading a dvd you have to convert from the DVD format(forgot the file extension name) to an MP4. Not sure if thats it but he usually knows what hes talking about.

DVD's are in mpeg 2 format.

To rip a DVD to an ipod, you'll have to rip the DVD to an mpeg.

Then convert to an MP4, I think quicktime will do this. BTW, who would want to watch a movie on a tiney 2.5" screen?

videos need to be converted to mp4 (download a converter)

track name info, you need to be on the internet before loading the cd

I love watching movies on my tiny 2.5" screen before bed or on the road. ;)

I have like 12 movies on mine and 3400 songs so far.

hit me up on AIM (steveyd88) tonight and ill send you the program that i have. all you need to do then is go onto mscracks, and you can get a serial code, and youre all set.

i actually think that its faster putting cd's onto itunes than wmp or any other program. are you sure it isnt just the cd that doesnt have the tracks labelled? a lot of the cheaper/older cd's that i have dont have the data on them. it just takes a min to go through and type it in.
