  • found some cheap window motors on ebay 15$

    Just a heads up, directauto at ebay is selling window motors for our cars for 15$ with a lifetime warranty, he only lists like 3 at a time so you gotta look for em. and shipping is only like 5$ just wanted to let yall know.

    looks like someone knows how to fix the broken ones.

      Supposedly all that burns out is a small resistor inside the window motor all you have to do is take it apart and swap out the resister.

        I bought one from him about 6 months ago and havn't had any problems with it yet.

          Sweet, they're like $50 or $60 locally, I think I'm gonna pick one up cause my passenger side is dead.

            Nikon was the one that found out that it was the resistor that blew, but he never found out how to replace it as far as i know of..

                  lol, no Im not the one selling them, you can check my ebay id nikon858, I sold a tonneau cover for a sierra and an old laptop. sorry gt didnt see your other post. And ya im the one that looked into it enough to realize all it is a little resistor, actually to be technical its a thermistor. The point I stopped at is what temperature the thermistor operates in and am not willing to fry my wiring in my car to find out. I might get curious enough one day and do it, till then 15$ motors is what I offer you. Have fun drilling rivets ;)
