Oh yeah, that's dicked up. That cop should get more than 15 days or worse. I still wonder if the kid on the bike was messing around though... cops do get jaded, but the better ones don't let the public see it.

Yes, I so hate how cops put their life on the line to protect us. Those bastards, how could they be such a$$holes to actually get us in trouble for breaking the law... how dare they enforce laws we know damn well we're breaking.

Look, traffic laws suck, but it's still the law. Don't hate the cops, hate the laws and the insurance companies that lobby for them.

I'm not trying to get banned but this needs to be said. Nowhere in the rules and policy for this community does it say not to bash on cops. It's his opinion and everyone has a right to their opinion. Frankly, living in the state and city I grew up in, I've seen nothing but nonsense from cops. By growing up and seeing these things, I have come to get a bad impression about cops, of course.

I think this needs to be brought up to stefan. I totally respect the fact that you have 100% approval towards police officers, but you have to let other people express their opinions. I'm not saying police officers are useless or anything. They have been there when they were needed. But the way some officers work has totally brought down my confidence on them.

Like I previously posted, I am in no way bashing or disrespecting anyone. My only concern is what we can and cannot talk about in this forum.

As previously stated, I totally understand his support for law enforcement and have no problem with that. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that we are not to give our opinions regarding specific issues.

An example: I'm a Computer Tech. and love doing this for a living. If I was a moderator and someone posted something negative about a Computer Tech. because he might have gotten ripped off or messed his computer up in some way, would that give me the right to automatically stop the post and absolutely not let their concerns be posted? That would be absurd.

Let us give our opinions to the extend of not breaking the site use policy or board rules. If this post will lead me to get banned from this forum, then let it be. I just feel that this isn't fair.

I understand where you are coming from.

When people make generic police bashing then we have issues. It has been posted before, edited and/ or locked by mod's and admin's.
