            ST lucie county now has a 6:00 curfew in effect its comin over to my side now on the east coast.....if west palm gets a hurricane warning though work is shut down for tommorow :D .....but the thing that sucks is I just spent the last couple hours bringing everything in from outside....unfrotunatley I work at a car dealership, so there is alot of crap that had to come in :(

              No kidding I haven't heard that, my father is in St. Lucie (Fort Pierce) and I haven't been able to reach him for the past few hours. They aren't really in the path though, other people I talk to there say its just lightly raining

                this hurricane **** is a jip! nothing!
                Tampa got lucky, all my friends in Tampa had to evacuate. Good luck to everyone who IS getting hit by this bad boy...

                  man nothing ever hit me in west palm....not even a DROP!!!....its 11:00 now and I havent even seen a 20mph wind gust...oh well, I guess it worked out for the better

                      So how is everyone in Florida? I heard Punto Gorda (sp?) got hit horribly... hope you, your friends and family are all okay!

                      We're waiting to see what happens here in Hampton, VA - right now it's barely raining... but there's absolutely no wind - dead air, which makes me a little nervous - that whole the calm before the storm thing... [img]graemlins/popcorn.gif[/img]

                        Yah this was the worst since andrew. lots of money and homes destroyed. a ****en SHELTER went down.. luckily only 1was injured during that. wow.. im never going to retire

                          yep read my post about it. Im from Port Charlotte, and punta Gorda is next to. It is essentially the same place except punt gorda is the southside and port charlotte is the north side.
