• Got an interesting Auto Letter Today

When I got home today from seeing my lady I look in my mailbox and find a letter from a local car dealer, they say to call this hotline to see what I qualify for. So I said, "Hey, what the h*ll!" And called them.

I qulify for a $21,900 loan by myself, and I'm only 19. Not two minutes later, that dealer calls me back and we talk for a few minutes.

My step-sister is showing an interest in buying my car from me, so I can still see and driver her every now and then!

It is a Mazda-Cadillac-Jeep-Kia Dealer. They also have other kinds, and can get car from their other dealers as well. (Heritage Auto Mall)

I'm going up there tommorow, just to see what they have. A Six-Speed RX-8 Would be too bad for me!

I'll tell you right now... you'll need a lot of money down, or a co-signer. They say that just to get you in there. I work at a dealership, and know these things it's a marketing ploy.

Do you know how much the rx-8's are by the way? Your looking at 30k.

Good luck, and hopefully they can help you out!

Pshhh.. I tried taking a 2k loan out for a 95 6spd z28 and was denied. I'm 19, have had a credit card for about 5 months and use it regularly and pay it off in full every month ($300-500 every month). The car was 6k total and I was putting 4k down. DAMN YOU BANKERS!

no where near enough time to build credit, want better credit youngins? get a 500 loan from your bank where you have at least 500 in your account, yuse the account as collateral, then pay it off in 6 months and...wa-la better credit score!

                        To respond to you guys....

I know how much an RX8 Costs now....D'oh!

My credit is better than you may think. I have 4 accounts for the past 20 months that are all in good standing. But yes, I know that is still low.

The thought of it being a trick has been lingering in the back of my mind. Trust me, I not really excited about getting a new or newer car.

Like I siad before, it wouldn't hurt to look or try.

I really hope you aren't trying to take out 20 grand out at 19...

Unless you're making decent money, I would NOT recomend.
