Not that model, but I've only owned Sony DVD players. Right now I own another 5 disc changer unit. The first one lasted almost 7 years before the optics failed. What did you need to know?FirebirdV6.com/CamaroV6.com Administrator

just curious as to it's longevity and ability to read discs...i currently have a sony dvd/vhs combo unit and it's awful. It pauses in the middle of dvds, doesn't read some, and doesn't read hardly any cd's. Most of what I would consider "higher end consumer" models like the one your showing... Should at least get 5 years. I know that my original 5 disc DVD I paid 1K bucks for back when it first came out and was THE top of the line with optical, component outputs, etc etc. I was bummed to find it's replacement was only 179.00, but to fix mine was 300.00. So disposible... that's most comsumer products now. Good, I've not had any problems with my new one yet. CD/VCD/DVD and all the different media that I can stick in it.
