Yeah, I don't think he resigned cuz he's gay. He did not resign because he is gay.
He resigned because he sexually harassed another man and now has felony charges pending against him.
He would have resigned even if he had been straight--politicians that have pending cases of sexual harassment that they know are true don't hang out in office long. The fact that he happens to be gay and the victim filing suit is a man just adds to the media's zeal.Comment
