• Engineer with a sense of humor?? '05 GTO

Ok.. some of you that know machinery, will see the problem with this picture and the humor.

Those that don't... well... the hazard switch is a safety button used on large machines to do emergency shut downs.

I just find this funny as hell... I want to know what the engineer was thinking when he said, "wow Bob, let's try out this kinda switch and see what the public thinks".

    Dial up beware!

lmfao! It looks like the brake release on my father-in-law's '02 Peterbuilt semi tractor.

I'd expect to hear a gigantic "PWUSHHHHHHHHH" after pushing that.

It'd be ok if it weren't so big and didn't look like it came out of the "misc pieces" bin at KB Toys.

So where are all the giant useless guages?

yeah I'd have to agree with James GM isn't exactly all about high quality in their cars but what gets me is how nice their trucks are. I have driven several trim levels of GM truck 99 to 04 and they all have really nice build quality, why can't they translate that to the cars?

on a side note alot of the auto journalist guys are wondering if Holden can maintain any sort of build quality, aparently they have a worse reputation than GM does.

Yeah, thats a photoshop. If you look really close, it doesn't have the right shading to have the "3d" look. Then, with the connection to the chrome piece, they make it look like one piece. If a truly skilled pser did it, it would have a shaded bottom, to make it look like the chrome piece goes into the red button.
