In high school, I wanted to be a teacher. Now that I wasted my first 3 semesters on that major, found out I hated it.

I'm going into Ford's ASSET program next august, this is my last semester of just B/S classes to keep my scholarships, but I'm taking humanities, ethics, american history and intro to marketing to make me a "well rounded person."

However, I want to be a package car drive for UPS and ultimately a feeder driver (the 18 wheelers) that go from our hub in Tampa to Orlando or Jacksonville everyday. The asset program is just something for me to have to keep myself marketable, so I have a skill in something. I like the idea of being a mechanic too, so its all good.

Those jobs will help me make enough money to have my own house, and thats my goal right now.

Next time the signup sheet is posted this summer, I'm signing it. When I am 21, I will have 2 years of seniority, doubt that will be enough then to be a driver. They tell people its generally 5-8 years...which is probably a nationwide average.

Already financially independent, I want to be financially independent and very financially sound, with an amount of money that I can enjoy life, not so much possessions but be able to take time off work and not be in the poorhouse worrying about what I am going to do.

I know some that are in their 13th year, waiting for a drivers spot to open. I wanted to be a driver at one point, but to wait 10+ years for a spot to open is rediculous. The drivers here just don't want to retire at all.

When I was in high school, my goals were:

                    1. Own a Firebird,
                    2. Live someplace with lots of palm trees and beaches,
                    3. Marry a hot babe,
                    4. Be rich.

Not bad - I've achieved all but #4.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

Wow, this is a little depressing. I guess I would have to say Im like Infernal. I really just don't know what my goal in life is. Sure I have a great, beautiful girlfriend whom I'll probably marry but I can't help but think there has to be more than this.

I thought I wanted to be a surgeon and after countless courses and stressing over homework I found I'm just not interested in the medical field, and I wouldnt be happy. The money would be great but I would have to work all the time. Perhaps the only reason I ever wanted it in the first place was that it was my parents dream. Sorry to be a letdown, it's just not for me.

Now, after taking a semster off school, I find myself in the same boat as Infernal. Anxiety? More like a freak out. I'm turning 20 in two months and, while I know thats not old, I feel like my life is passing by. As if life itself is...well...pointless in a sense. I work my 9-5 M-F and then I hang out with friends and my gf on weekends. At this point I just do whatever makes me happy. And maybe thats what life is about: being happy.

My goal in life is to be successful; to a lot of people that means money, but to me that means a combination of happiness, some financial success, sticking to my guns/beliefs in all doings, etc.

I own a house (for a week so far!), I'm getting married this august, starting a company with a friend of mine in february.

I'd like the marriage to be a happy one, and I'd like for this business to grow and expand to where one day my biz partner and I could do it full time. One day I hope to be ordained as a minister and hopefully help people that way. I'd like to have 2 kids, and be able to take care of them and bring them up well.

THAT, to me, is success, and those are my goals.

humm, my goals would be to be a good husband/father, finicanally(sp?) well off, not super rich, but be able to afford some of the finer things in life, and play pro paintball. im getting close to all three. i will be getting married next year. im going to a great college. and as for playing pro paintball, it was always one of those childish dreams, you know, play in the NFL or NBA but, its funny how things turn out, one day i was looking to sell all my gear, when i get an offer to play for one of the top teams in the country and sponsored by some of the best companys in the buisness.
