Actually I think it makes it worse...

With an open diff you can Light up the "tire" and the damn car will stay straight, its really hard to get the tail loose, but when you do its hard to recover.

With lsd, you light the tires up its real easy to get the rear loose but its also easier ot recover.

I dunno about your car but when i break the one tire loose when its wet (driving straight) the rear swings hard to the right. The cars with LSD that I've driven have just kinda swiveled back and forth. I hate driving in the rain.

That will cause a force that should help to keep the car straight. My car was definitely more stable with the open diff when spinning than the LSD. Now it just wants to wants to break to the side.

Thats my thoughts on it too...

Which I it makes it more fun. Get some 275 Kuhmos, driving in the rain is fun, you have to try and break them loose. Though I admit normal 245s, and I swing all over the place.

You should try driving my truck in the rain. If I give it more than 1/3 throttle, im spinning. I try not to give any gas around corners, I am always fishtailing, but I rarely lose control. Thats why my brother is the only other person allowed to drive my truck if its wet out.

I think the LSD helps going straight, but makes going around turns much worse because it fishtail alot quicker.

I beat you, I did 2 1/2 360's on the highway from the right lane to the hov last year. Think I accelerated on an oil slick when it started to rain

Instead of buying bigger tires or changing out posi carriers, just us some caution and lay off the gas pedal. Problem solved

That’s sucks man. I have an open diffy on my car when it rains I just go slow around turns and work into my speed when going straight. Basically you learn the hard way when it rains drive slower.

I <3 Breaking the tires loose when it's wet. But only when it's safe. Doing it in traffic isn't smart.
