• GT4; you can lock it but please just give me an answer

I need to know what kind of car to use in the Professional Events Gran Turismo World Championship. I'm using the AMG race car you get from the German Black Forest race B but even when im driving perfect im getting creamed. i put a stage 4 in it and it has 1030 HP. im stumped.

once someone can tell me, mods you are free to lock the thread. I didn't know any other way to ask other then emailing every member.

R92CP, or GT-One used with proper tires/pit strategy.

NOTE:
I see NO reason why this should be removed IF it stays on topic. If it does get off topic or go DOWN HILL for any reason. You have my blessing, lock it down.

It's "car related" albeit a video game, but still has cars in it. It's "some peoples bag baby"

Cheers

EDIT: i sold the mercedes racer for 700k, got the chapparral, slapped on a stage4 and tried to spray it (cant use nitrous :( ). only a 3 speed transmission (?) but still fricking quick.

I have beaten the last Professional Event.

There are two cars that you could use. One is the Toyata Minolta Race Car, you get this car by completing the El Capitan endurance race.

Also, you can use the Forumula Gran Turismo car. You get this by completing the 24 hour Nurburing endurance event.

If you use the Minolta you still have to drive pretty decent to win it, it still isn't a cakewalk. I got first place in 6 of the 10 events a couple of seconds and a couple of 6ths and won the championship by the skin of my teeth (couple of points).

If you use the Formula car you have to have decent pit strategy because just like in GT3 you can only use Medium slick tires (R3) so you will have to pit twice to the AI's once. If you use the Minolta use the hardest slick (R1). Also I found the default gear ratio on the Minolta to work good for all the tracks, it already accelerates so good you really don't have to mess with it. Just change the oil when you get it and slap on the Stage 4 Turbo.

After I won the championship I used the Forumula car to get 1st place on the tracks I didn't get 1st on during the championship. Even with the formula you still have to drive consistently fast.

Believe it or not it can be helpful to read posts above yours

You need 25% to do the Endurance events so you are almost there. Once you get in there do El Capitan first. YOu will get a Toyata Minolta race car which you can use for Nurburing, and just put it in B-Spec mode and let it run for 24 hours, and the forumula is yours (change the oil and put the stage 4 turbo on the minolta).
