Man ! I just started driveing this trans am with the ls1 engin...6 speed ws6 pkg, and I kid you not, this is some powerfull thrusting going on here, and as I was showing my buddy my ride,I slipped the clutch and laid a serious burnout at the stoplite, the car begain to slid to the left, and other cars where begining to come towards us,That feeling of so much g force got me dazed and just about lost it, well I did loose something in my pants, I had to go back home and change ,Man that was scary,,Maybe I should go back to the v6,.. well I am cooling it for awhile, My insurance is almost $1,923.00 for 6 months,,I'm never gona get to fix up this car paying that much to drive.. later.. If you're going to do that stuff, don't do it in traffic. Someone let me drive their 6-speed WS6 a few weeks before I got my Firebird, and it is MUCH more powerful.
For future reference, yes, when the wheels are spinning, your rear is going to step out. I was a little less fortunate... no accident, but I scratched one of my wheels up.
I used to powerslide all the time, but I got a little too hot on it once and spun around, facing oncoming traffic in the wrong lane, and ran off another time, so I quit.1998 Firebird
V6 M5
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2239301/1

Why did I know that would happen?
Irresponsible people like you shouldn't be allowed on the road. You're a danger to everyone around you, and the reason we have to pay so much for insurance. Do yourself a favor and get rid of it, and never buy another sports car again.Matt
