For some reason, I am thinking of ordering a PSP (Platinum or Gold pack from Game Stop)... What do you guys think of portable handhelds? Even though I work a ton of hours a week, I need something to fill up all of my time, since I am currently single again (my stupid *** choice)... grrrrrrrrrrrr. Anyways I would like to know what you guys think. I think it is a ton better than the Nintendo DS. Whenever I hear Nintendo I think Kids' games... like its made for kids.
I hope there isnt another thread around for this cause I didnt see one but forgive me its 7 AM.

I went to work (Circuit City) at like noon today to get my check and there were 15-20 PSP's sitting on the front counter. From what a friend told me later Best Buy opened two hours earlier and we only sold like three of them, so if anyone's looking and can't find one you might want to give it a shot.
They have a portable version of Need For Speed Underground too. It has a lot of features though, not just games. It plays mp3s and videos and stuff and has built in wireless networking. It's going to have internet support too. These are going to be more like miniature laptops than gaming systems. They're going to be awesome.
I shoulda ordered this morning cause Game Stop had the Platinum package which is now sold out.

Yeah, quite expensive. That's the only reason I didn't become an early adopter for the platform. Anyways, Sony's already planning on releasing a PSP with an integrated hard drive. I'll wait.

does it really have 128 bit graphics? I thought it was only going to be PS1 equivalent. if it really is PS2 graphics that is awesome. butI wonder if the screen will be hard to see or not.
I think most people have described it as a PS1.5, and with the little screen it can get away with lower polygon counts. End results still look awesome.
