Gee, you can get a Camaro now, only it's called a Cadillac XLR. Aye, the concept Camaro looks too much like the XLR from the side. They are slighty different from the front, except a few batted down hits on the hood here and there. Actually, the concept resembles a lot like the Dodge Charger, minus the extra two doors in the back. I really hope they change the design a bit more before it comes out. Looks too plain. I still like the orange Camaro concept that Kris Horton put out.

Needless to say that I will not be first in line to get the new Camaro just because the words "Camaro" are written on it.

Has GM hinted about bringing back the Firebird alongside the new Camaro? I always prefered Pontiacs styling to Chevy's.

Displacement on demand sucked in the past.

Caddy couldn't do it.... lets see what gm can do

Weren't they also using computer controlled carburetors or something along the lines of one? From what I've heard the technology wasn't ready when they tried the 8-6-4 step-down stuff. I think they're doing okay with fuel injection and more sophisticated electronics now.

Caddy is GM. If GM had trouble in the past with it, im sure they have worked out the bugs by now.

i love the concept. thought the rear lights looked like crap when i first saw them but when they light up and look like afterburners i just fell in love with em. anyone see the pics of the engine bay? its so bare looking.

camaroz28.com has some pic on the front page, and links to a hole bunch of stuff.

yea i thought the engine bay was bare too but id expect it to be a little more messier when its made in production because they probably didnt have any a/c or other modern convientces set up.
