  • my hometown DESTROYED

Well Everyone, My family is moving with me for awhile to be up in tallahassee with me.Charley gave my hometown a major @sswopen.
It is completly devistated down there. I will post picks when I get money to buy a new scanner and so forth.all I have up in Tallahasse is a computer and a blowup mattress. LOL I go to the panhandle for Bonnie then go to Charley, 2 damn hurricans in 24hours.

I dont know what to do. Just got a place, just big enough for myself then now need a place for family.
There is not one power pole standing in Port Charlotte. Just no power for a month. Ill try to keep in touch.

Yep should see my neighbors and everything. No roofs trees gone boats destroyed. Pools destroyed. Stuff messed up. My family was lucky no one was hurt but my moms a pharmasist and the hospital was devistated as well. I feel for all those who lost there lives. I just was the group that had there stuff damaged. Now time to get ready for the expensive fixes. I mean Expensive.

BTW: I lived near the Harbor.

Anyone else from down my way?

Man, I feel you. My family lives in pt. charlotte, and my wife's family lives in pgi. They were evacuated and my family stayed. My mom told my she has never been more scared in her life. They lost their roof and the attic flooded, they lost the pool cage, some trees out back, all the street lights, everything. My friend said it's worse than when Andrew hit miami. Man, I wish I could go see them.

                      sorry to hear :(
two really good friends of mine had to evacuate Tampa, for this storm. Last i heard they went to their parents house in Placida, FL. I'm sure they were evacuated from their too, but i havent heard from them, so i'm just a little worried....

best of luck to all affected.
i live in Vero Beach and all we got was some rain and little bit of wind. we just had a huge storm blow through a few hours ago which caused more damage than the hurricane, toppled a few trees (prolly waterlogged from the rain)

                      well good luck!
